The Ford Puma comes loaded with Driver Assistance Technology, designed to help keep you, your family and other road users protected.
AEB with Pedestrian Protection
Every Puma model includes Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian detection. Always scanning ahead, AEB alerts you of potential collisions and applies the brakes if an unexpected danger appears in front of the car.
LED Head Lights
A useful night-driving aid. Auto High Beam temporarily dips your headlights when it detects oncoming traffic or a vehicle ahead, stopping you dazzing other drivers. It then automatically reverts back to high beam, giving you maximum visibility.
Traffic Sign Recognition
Puma’s front sensors scan the road ahead for traffic signs and display the current speed limit on the digital instrument cluster, helping you to avoid a hefty speeding fine.
180° split view camera
The rear 180-degree split view activates automatically once you switch into reverse. Acting like an extra pair of eyes, the camera can reveal objects you might have missed and help you navigate tight parking spaces.
Tyre Pressure Monitoring
The Puma helps you avoid being caught with a flat tyre. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System alerts you when the pressure is low, so you can manually check the pressure and reinflate.
Cross Traffic Alert
Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert uses sensors to monitor the traffic in your blind spot and warns you before reversing out of a parking spot or switching lanes.
Adaptive Cruise Control
Just set your cruising speed and let the Puma’s radar monitor the traffic ahead and slow down or speed up accordingly.
Electronic Stability Control
ESC is designed to help prevent skidding or sliding sideways when taking evasive action or in bad conditions.
Lane Keeping Aid
If you accidentally drift over the lane, Puma applies gentle steering torque & a warning vibration to guide you back if needed.
